Our Three Favourite Smoothie Recipes

There's no easier way to sneak in your daily dose of fruit or veggies than with a smoothie! It's a great way to get in a variety of nutrients in a refreshing, delicious treat no matter if you're on-the-go or stuck at home!

Whether you love your smoothie to be made all from fruit, all veggies or a combination of the two, it's such a great way to get your vitamins and minerals in and we love to add protein to feel fuller. 

So we're going to share with you our three go to recipes, whether it's for breakfast, lunch or even dinner on a warm night, we can't get enough of these!

Banana and Berry Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 whole banana
1/2 cup of berries (fresh or frozen)
2 teaspoons of honey (or rice malt syrup or maple syrup)
1/4 cup of chia seeds
1 tablespoon of your protein powder of choice
1 & 1/2 cups of milk of choice

Method: Pop all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Top with some fresh strawberries and enjoy. 
*Tip - if you're using all fresh ingredients add some ice to make your smoothies refreshing!

Green Goodness Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 whole banana
1/2 avocado 
1 cup of
 spinach (fresh or frozen)
1/2 cup kale 
2 tablespoons of almond butter
2 teaspoons of honey (or rice malt syrup or maple syrup)
1 tablespoon of your protein powder of choice
1 & 1/2 cup of milk of choice

Method: Pop all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Top with a spoonful of chia seeds and some fresh mint leaves. 

Mango Magic Smoothie

Ingredients:
1 cup of mango (fresh or frozen)
1 whole banana
1/2 cup of your yoghurt of choice
1 tablespoon of your protein powder of choice
Splash of pineapple juice

Method: Add all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth. Add some fresh mint leaves and a slice of lime for some extra zest! 

Of course, you can turn any of these recipes into smoothie bowls by topping with granola, fresh fruit, coconut flakes, chia seeds, or any other of your favourite toppings!
