ENIKŌ, created by the incredibly talented and highly experienced Eniko Nehez, has a cult following of women (and men!) who have been seeing Eniko in person for years, thanks to her amazing, effective handmade skincare products and treatments.

We sat down with Eniko to chat about her brand - so you can learn more about what sets ENIKŌ apart.

Tell us a bit about the 'behind-the-scenes' at ENIKŌ:
The business was founded by me - Eniko - after I migrated to Australia from a small Hungarian Village back in 2005. I first began working in skin therapy and then attained a Bachelor in Health Science (Naturopathy). I'm also a mother of two and married to Stefan who also assists in the business in an admin capacity.
What inspired you to start ENIKŌ and when did you start it?:
I was inspired to create a skincare brand following years of observing the negative effects on skin of traditional, harmful and synthetic chemical laden products found in the mainstream skincare market. My skincare range was officially founded in 2018.
What do you do to take care of your own health and wellness?
In addition to the usual diet and exercise, I also have regular saunas, red light therapy, cold showers, take herbal and mushroom extracts, NMN and drink lots of springwater. I also practice intermittent fasting and avoid simple sugars and alcohol.
What is your favourite product in the ENIKŌ range?
I love them all but if I would have to choose one, it would be the Healing Glow Gel.
What inspires you to get out of bed every morning?
To be better and more productive than yesterday, and to help people’s skin health journey, as well as health in general.
What is an interesting way of using ENIKŌ products that not many people would know about?
A lot of my products have multiple uses so for one thing, it’s their versatility. Most importantly though, it’s not so much about an interesting way of using them but the interesting way they work. They are designed to feed the skin and bring it back into balance. They address the root cause of skin issues, as opposed to masking them and making skin look better superficially.
What were your goals when you started ENIKŌ and what did you want to achieve?
To provide safe, simple and effective products that address the root cause/s of skin issues in a holistic way whenever possible. I wanted to simplify skincare by formulating products that are effective in a number of ways in order to reduce the number of overall products required to achieve desired results within a skincare routine.
Who is your product perfect for? (aka, what are their issues and concerns?)
My range is perfect for a variety of skin types and ages. Four combinations of products are available and these cover the four main skin types and/or stages of life and skin health.
What are your skincare secrets?
Less is more. Avoid makeup as much as possible, eat well, exercise and look after your mental and physical health. Do not over-cleanse your skin and look after your stratum corneum. Your skin is a reflection of what is going on internally so it is vital to be balanced within in order for your skin to glow.
What changes/improvements will we notice after a month of using your product?
When used as directed, skin should become balanced, hydrated and firmer with improved complexion resulting in a healthy glow.
