The team over at ECOCOCO just keep getting it right – quality & ethical ingredients, gorgeous packaging, and products that just feel amazing to use..!
We asked them to take some time out to tell us a little about how they are using a naturally derived power ingredient to create performance based skin-care that the whole family can enjoy (including furry friends, apparently!!).
Tell us a bit about the people behind your company…
We’re a small dedicated team who are passionate about creating natural, performance-based beauty products. We each bring different strengths to the group but all have the same goal at the end.
What inspired you to start your company and when did you start it?
Coconut Oil! It’s that simple – the benefits and versatility of this amazing ingredient drove us to create a beauty range that could be enjoyed worldwide by conscious beauty buyers. When ECOCOCO began there was nothing like it on the market, the range has grown according to its demand.
How do you make your products?
We source the most ethical ingredients, which have the most benefit to our customers and make our products right here in Australia and of course they all contain certified organic Coconut Oil.
What is your favourite product in your range?
I guess this would be like choosing a favourite child! If there was only one thing we could take on a deserted island it would be our Body Polish, it leaves your skin silky smooth after a deep exfoliation but locks in the moisture with the most amazing amount of Coconut Oil found in this product!
What is your favourite way to enjoy your product/s?
A relaxing bath at the end of the day, with a sprinkle of one of our body scrubs and then in these cooler winter temperatures lathering ourselves in the Lime Body Butter to pretend we are still on a tropical island somewhere and to make sure our skin still looks and smells like that too.
What is an interesting way of using your products that not many people would know about?
We’ve had some customers say they use our shampoo and conditioner on their furry pets. Of course Coconut Oil is good for their coats too.
What is your favourite way of winding down and taking time out?
I guess taking advantage of the beautiful place we live in the world, a stroll on the beach with the dog happens to be the best place to take time out, and clear the head.
Here at Retreat Yourself, we LOVE dreaming BIG – what is your vision for your company?
That ECOCOCO could be found in every country in the world. A girl can dream, taking our Vegan, Cruelty Free and Australian made and own products across the globe.
And lastly, what does a fulfilled life look like to you?
Surrounded by loving friends and family and a world filled with beauty brands with a conscious.
ECOCOCO’s range can be viewed on their website: https://ecococo.com.au.
Overnight oats are one of our go to recipes for breakfast!
Not only are they nourishing and delicious, but they are soo easy to make. All you have to do is mix up all of the ingredients the night before and pop it in the fridge, so breakfast is as easy as opening the fridge door!
We have especially been loving these Orange and Cardamom Overnight Oats with Almond Fudge by Sarah Bell from Our Nourishing Table....
At Retreat Yourself we love to spread positivity and having our affirmation She Cards around the office is just one way we do this every day, but we're not the ones ones who believe in the power of affirmations!
The wonderful Mary Grace, who features in our brand new Summer Box, are big advocates for the power of positivity, so we're sharing their amazing amazing words to help leave you feeling more inspired and excited for each day...
If you're anything like us, then it was love at first sight the moment you unboxed the beautiful floral bottle by Wild Fox Apothecary in your Spring Box!
